Robert Hadley

Principal

As a Principal of Hadley Properties, Robert is responsible for the company’s overall strategic plan and oversees the implementation of new development opportunities. Robert interfaces with our joint venture partners and positions the organization to take advantage of unique market conditions. Having earned degrees in Civil Engineering and Quantitative Economics from Stanford University, Robert joined the company and worked alongside his father, Richard Hadley until his passing in 2002 at which point Robert assumed the leadership of the company. Robert enjoys traveling with his family, reading and staying active.

Lisa Hadley

Principal

As a Principal of Hadley Properties, Lisa assists in implementing the strategic plan for the company and oversees the operational functions of the organization. Her primary focus is on our Honolulu project, Airport Industrial Park which has over 130 tenants and over 1.4 million gross square feet of commercial space. Prior to joining Hadley Properties, Lisa earned her BA from Pepperdine University and spent ten years working in television and film production in New York and Los Angeles. Lisa enjoys spending time traveling with her family, wine, good food and friends with a sense of humor.

Jeff Bashaw

General Counsel

As General Counsel, Jeff is responsible for all legal aspects of Hadley Properties’ business, including structuring corporate and partnership enterprises, overseeing the governance of all legal entities, negotiating and documenting transactions, and overseeing all financing and risk management matters. Before joining Hadley Properties, Jeff worked in private practice at a Seattle law firm, where he focused on business and real estate transactions. Jeff holds a J.D. with honors from the University of Washington School of Law and a B.S. (Summa Cum Laude) from Boston College, Carroll School of Management. Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys spending time on the water and keeping up with his young children.

Meghan Burt

Executive Assistant

As the Executive Assistant for Hadley Properties, Meghan is responsible for managing the high-level day-to-day operations of our Seattle office. In assisting the principals of the company, Robert Hadley and Lisa Hadley, Meghan is able to utilize her well-developed communication, writing and organizational skills. Meghan graduated with a BA from Western Washington University in 2004 and in conjunction with joining the company in 2006, she also pursued and completed a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. In addition to her commitment to the Hadley Properties team, Meghan also operates a private counseling practice in the greater Seattle area. She enjoys traveling, film, good food and spending time with friends.

Heather Devyak

Office Manager

As Office Manager, Heather focuses on organizing and supervising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of our Seattle office. She also provides a broad range of executive level support for the Principals of the company. Prior to joining Hadley Properties, Heather spent the last 15 years working in the legal field. Heather’s interest outside of the office are camping and spending time with family.

Donna Faulkner

Legal Assistant

As Legal Assistant to two in-house general counsels for Hadley Properties, Donna is responsible for all legal documentation and closings for lot sales in our residential project in Colorado Springs as well as projects in Washington State, including interaction with builders, title companies and escrow agents. Donna manages the corporate records, formations and renewals, including cataloging and tracking insurance policies of all entities. In addition, Donna was formerly the assistant to founder, Richard Hadley and principal, Robert Hadley. When not in the office, Donna spends her free time with her family and reading.

Michele Fualii

Controller

Michele joined Hadley Properties in 1991 and since then, has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Central Washington University. As the Controller for Hadley Properties and its entities, Michele is responsible for implementing the company’s financial objectives. Michele manages many high level functions including complicated strategic tax planning and advanced cash flow analysis. Additionally, her vast accounting skillset allows her to oversee accounts payable and receivable as well as all human resource functions, including employee benefits and payroll. Michele enjoys watching her children play fast pitch and soccer, participating in activities with her Church, playing softball and reading if there is any time left over!

Ceci Ganem

Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager, Ceci is responsible for developing and executing innovative email, social media, brand and digital marketing programs. Her proudest moment yet is spearheading the redesign of this new website. Holding an MBA from the University of Alaska Anchorage, Ceci has considerable strategic marketing experience across a diverse range of industries including real estate, non-profit and professional sports. Outside the office, when she’s not perfecting her sushi chef skills, she enjoys spending time with her family and racking miles on her running shoes.

Ryland Halffman

Senior Financial Analyst

Ryland is a Senior Financial Analyst for Hadley Properties. His role includes a wide range of financial modeling, spanning the life-cycle of the firm’s real estate projects, and modeling and testing of project performance, in order to optimize financial outcomes. Ryland’s background working for a large contractor has provided him a strong foundation into the nuances of project execution. Ryland graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management as well as a Master’s of Business Administration. When not relaxing with his family, Ryland enjoys piloting light aircraft around the region.

Brendan Lawrence

Development Manager

In his role as Development Manager, Brendan is responsible for the evaluation, execution and performance of development projects for Hadley Properties. Brendan is a graduate of the University of Washington Foster School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.  He also holds a certificate from the University of Washington in commercial real estate, the forerunner to the school’s Masters in Real Estate program. Prior to Hadley Properties, Brendan worked for the Sierra Construction family of companies, a local Seattle general contractor, where he was responsible for the real estate development group and financial modeling, among other tasks.   In his free time, Brendan enjoys traveling, watching and playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.

John Libenow

Project Manager

As Project Manager, John supervises developments and special projects in Washington and Hawaii from conception to operation. He engages with owners, consultants, governing agencies and contractors to bring projects to life. In addition, John manages projects for Koapaka Construction – an affiliated structural steel construction company in Hawaii. As a former international general contractor, John worked on marquee projects in the hospitality, university and medical industries in the Seattle, Research Triangle and Caribbean markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Central Washington University. John enjoys spending time with his family on their hobby farm raising various livestock 4-H projects, riding motorcycles on outdoor adventures and traveling.

Monte McKeehen

Senior VP and General Counsel

As Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Monte oversees all legal affairs, is responsible for documenting business transactions and serves as one of the managing officers for the organization. Monte graduated from the University of Oregon, School of Law and is admitted to the Oregon State Bar Association and the Washington State Bar Association. He practiced law in Eugene, Oregon for 18 years specializing in real estate and commercial transactions and litigation before joining Hadley Properties. When not in the office, you can find Monte traveling, reading, fishing or scuba diving.

Laurie Schmidt

Administrative Accountant

Laurie brings over 20 years of experience in restaurant and hotel accounting, including a business degree in Accounting from Knapp Business College, to Hadley Properties’ accounting team. As an Administrative Accountant, she assists with all aspects of the accounting department, including data entry, accounts receivable and coordination of billing statements with condominium owners in Hawaii. Laurie enjoys traveling to Mexico, visiting the coasts of Washington and Oregon with her daughter and family, knitting, baking and reading.
